    ** Position Overview**

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic, fast-paced finance team. In this role, you will assist the Controller with month-end activities, including journal entries, accruals, and bank and balance sheet reconciliations. You will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

    ** The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday plus a weekly Saturday morning shift.**

    ** Key Responsibilities**

    • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
    • Perform daily bank account and balance sheet reconciliations, as well as month-end and year-end closing activities
    • Research and analyze data to provide accounting and financial insights to management
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations
    • Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
    • Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    ** Qualifications**

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • 5+ years of recent accounting experience preferred
    • Expert knowledge of general ledger and journal entries
    • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work both independently and collaboratively
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills

    ** Physical Requirements**

    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, type, and operate office equipment.
    • Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and via electronic communication.
    • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching as needed to access files and office materials.
    • Ability to occasionally lift and move files, documents, and office supplies up to 20 pounds.
    • Visual acuity to review detailed financial data, documents, and computer screens for extended periods.
