Steward - Plano, TX

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to join our team at a private school in Plano, TX. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen in a high-volume dining environment.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Experience in high-volume food service operations, including dishwashing with both commercial machines and a 3-compartment sink
• Willingness to assist in all areas of the operation and be a strong, dependable team player
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and general sanitation
• Support receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation, dating, and labeling in accordance with HACCP guidelines
• Prepare iced teas and ensure the ice machine is filled and maintained
• Strong sense of urgency, efficiency, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, respectful, and easy to work with

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
• Occasional evenings and catering event

Pay Type:

$18.00 Hourly

Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.

Rotate products in inventory.

Maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled dishes.

Set-up and break down the dish machine and sanitizing equipment.

Bag all garbage and boxes and disposing these in appropriate dumpsters.

Adhere to SAGE's safety and allergy prevention policies.

Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.

Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.

Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
