    Description

    As Store Manager, you will play a key role in building the team, establishing the culture, and bringing the Thursday Boot Company retail experience to life from day one. This is a unique opportunity to help launch a new market while taking full ownership of store performance and shaping the store's long-term success.As the leader of your store, you are responsible for every aspect of the business—from delivering an exceptional customer experience and building a high‑performing Ambassador team to driving results that support sustainable profitability and long‑term growth.This is a hands‑on leadership role with high accountability and meaningful upside for someone who wants to own the result. You lead from the floor, set the pace for execution, and ensure operations reflect the brand at the highest level. You also bring a deep understanding of how quality footwear, apparel, and accessories are created, and ensure the team can confidently speak to product and fit.You are responsible for building and maintaining a culture of hospitality that ensures every customer interaction is intentional, consistent, and memorable.This role offers meaningful opportunities for growth and increased responsibility lead to strong customer feedback and consistent recognition by nameIdentify opportunities to improve service, store flow, and the overall customer experienceSet the tone on the sales floor by modeling premium service, coaching in real time, and removing barriers to a better experienceLeadership & Team DevelopmentRecruit, hire, and develop a high‑performing team of Retail Ambassadors, Lead Ambassadors, and Assistant Store ManagersSet clear expectations and deliver consistent, structured feedback through ongoing performance managementBuild a team culture where expectations are clear, feedback is timely, and leaders consistently follow through on performance and developmentCoach leaders and team members to drive strong individual performance and team resultsLead from the floor—supporting the team, solving problems, and upholding standardsStore Performance & Business OwnershipDrive revenue, conversion, profitability, and customer loyalty on a sustainable basisUse sales, labor, and expense trends to make informed decisions that improve operational performance and profitabilityTranslate sales, labor, and customer feedback trends into clear weekly priorities that improve resultsReview performance regularly and adjust staffing, floor leadership, and coaching as neededProvide clear written updates on performance, priorities, and follow‑through, with full and accuracyManage scheduling, staffing, and labor to support business needsEnsure consistent execution of POS processes, inventory routines, and store proceduresOwn inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counts, restocks, discrepancy follow‑up, and reportingHold the team accountable to clear operating expectations each dayStore Presentation & EnvironmentUphold high store standards across cleanliness, organization, and overall presentationDrive strong merchandising and product presentation that supports the customer journeyEnsure the store environment—including ambiance and functionality—reflects brand standardsTake ownership of store condition by identifying maintenance needs and coordinating timely resolution with internal teams and vendorsWhat You Bring4+ years of retail management experience, including single or multi‑store responsibilityProven ability to hire, develop, and retain high‑performing teamsStrong leadership skills with a desire to take full
