Sipsy is a specialty alcohol delivery and shipping service based in Los Angeles, with a growing nationwide footprint. We specialize in additive‑free spirits and natural wine, curated for the curious drinker. We are looking for an experienced, hands‑on Store Manager to lead daily operations and help build something exceptional.Role OverviewThe Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Sipsy store. This is a leadership role that requires a deep knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, combined with proven team management experience. You will be the driving force behind a smooth, customer‑first operation while ensuring the team is well‑trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver an outstanding experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all store operational duties on a day‑to‑day basis, maintaining a high‑functioning and efficient retail environmentDrive revenue growth by identifying sales opportunities, optimizing product placement, and maximizing performance across all channelsMonitor and analyze store KPIs including sales trends, conversion, and team productivity; deliver regular performance reports to ownershipManage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales associates and stockersCreate and maintain team schedules to ensure optimal coverageDevelop and implement training procedures; onboard and train all new team membersDeliver exceptional customer service and assist customers with product selectionAddress and resolve all customer concerns in a timely and professional mannerWork directly with select vendors and suppliers to manage and place product ordersOversee all shipping operations and ensure accuracy and timely fulfillmentMonitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking as neededMaintain store standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation$45,000 – $65,000 annually, commensurate with experienceQuarterly performance‑based bonusPaid vacationOpportunity for growth within a fast‑moving, expanding brandRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in a liquor, wine, or spirits retail environment — requiredMinimum 1 year of management or supervisory experience — requiredStrong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer categoriesDemonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsExperience working with vendors and placing product ordersAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekendsMust be 21 years of age or olderValid ID and ability to obtain applicable alcohol handling certifications if requiredPlease NoteApplications that do not meet the minimum experience requirements — specifically 2+ years in liquor, wine, or spirits retail and 1+ year in a management role — will not be considered.
