    Description

    As a Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional service and guidance to our customers. You'll oversee daily operations, including business performance, product management, and ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. In this key role, you represent GNC by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well" message to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure products are merchandised according to GNC standards and are easy to see and buy.Support the total shopping experience, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer relationship that leads to sales and repeat business, i.e. MYGNC Rewards.Achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals while helping sales associates realize their sales potential.Build strong teams, demonstrate leadership and managerial skills, give feedback on performance, recruit, hire, and manage performance.Open, close and operate the retail facility, including cash handling, inventory count and deposits according to GNC procedures.Attend community fairs, conferences, meetings and other public gatherings to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.Environmental Factors & Working ScheduleMust be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.Frequent reaching, bending and twisting – below waist and above shoulders.Frequently required to use repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reach with hands and arms.Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds, push/pull up to 20 lbs.Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend.Work in temperatures ranging from 50–85 degrees, especially in the stock room areas.Use of a computer up to 60% of the time throughout the day.Work Hours and SchedulingManagers of mall and strip center stores must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night and one other night.Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.Mall managers are expected to work peak business days including weekends (Saturday & Sunday).Managers are expected to work a minimum of one full Sunday per month.Managers of downtown stores must also work during the lunch hour of 11am to 2pm Monday through Friday and one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. Managers of downtown stores are not required to work Saturdays.Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open.Accommodation StatementTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
