    Description

    Senior Store Manager Summary: The Senior Store Manager manages a store within the district and has additional responsibilities throughout the district. The Senior Store Manager coordinates plans and actions in the areas of people development, sales, payroll, inventory, and budgets with their District Manager. The position ensures that the store provides the highest level of customer service possible and focuses on managing staff, improving sales, meeting customer demand, driving key businesses, building new business classifications, and developing talent throughout the district.Duties and Responsibilities Personnel Development: Supports DM in identifying and interviewing potential management candidates, performs appraisals and performance management, builds bench strength within the District, hires teams aligned with the Company's philosophy, mentors Store Managers, motivates teams to increase sales and improve efficiency, delegates workload to develop managers, promotes a positive work environment, recognizes outstanding performance, writes performance evaluations and goal assessments for Associate Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Keyholders, ensures reviews are scheduled and documented, and upholds customer service standards through observation and feedback.Operations: Maintains awareness of market trends and local competitor actions, conducts self‑audits with key controls for receiving and cash handling, implements improvements, manages stock levels and makes decisions on stock control, supports DM in maintaining training standards for product and system expertise, and follows merchandising standards that reflect the UGG brand image.Finance: Supports DM in budgeting and financial planning for the store while achieving results, communicates sales goals to staff, monitors the Loss Prevention program to protect inventory and assets and maintain acceptable shrinkage, and takes corrective action when sales goals are not met.Functional Competencies Proficient in Microsoft ApplicationsEffective preparation and presentation of information to management, clients, and employeesDrive for excellence and self‑starter mentalityEmpowering communicator; strong problem‑solving skillsKnowledgeable in current trends; innovative manager with people & processes focusAbility to set clear plans and objectives and delegate tasks effectivelyExperience developing, managing, and training direct reportsExperience in complex global organizations, servicing diverse constituents under competing prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication; strong problem‑solving abilitiesExcellent team‑building, project management, and organizational skillsAbility to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environmentExceptional attention to detailEducation and Experience Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) or equivalent experienceMinimum of 6 years retail store management experiencePhysical Demands Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees and customersManual dexterity requiredWell‑understanding of walking, standing, lifting, and handling items regularlyCompensation $95,000.00 – target for new hire at this store location.
