SUMMARY:
This position provides support to the Alumni & Development team as needed. Candidate will work with all aspects of alumni, development, marketing, and communications and obtain real-world experience via daily tasks and projects. The position will be from May - August. \
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and updating files and record keeping systems.
- Generate reports, correspondence, presentation materials, spreadsheets and graphics, and other materials using various software programs for the Advancement Office.
- Assist with special events and functions as needed.
- May be responsible for greeting visitors, as well as answering and routing incoming calls.
- Handle documents and donor records while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
- Conduct special projects, research and assignments as needed.
- Update social media content calendars and the Alumni & Development Communication calendars.
- Help with database and website management in regards to constituent records, events and communications.
- Send event reminder and thank you emails to event attendees.
- Write and send thank you notes to donors and alumni after events and making year-end gifts.
- Update the class notes and mail out alumni membership cards.
- Attend donor and alumni meetings and engagements.
- Work with the Annual Giving Officer to maintain accurate and efficient pledge processes including tracking, reporting and updating constituent records.
- Provide GREAT customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our customers.
- Understand and abide by all external and internal regulations and policies. This includes NCAA, GLIAC and national affiliations associated within athletics or other role specific regulations.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
