To apply for this job, please click here: Chain & Logistics CoordinatorSalary Range: $75-80K AnnuallyRoleThe Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the movement of GRAYL products from purchase order through delivery to our 3PL and international partners. This role is critical to GRAYL's success and works cross-functionally with Product Development, Finance, Sales, overseas factories, freight forwarders, and our domestic 3PL. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detailed, and calm under pressure. Someone who can keep many purchase orders, shipments and invoices moving at once and who communicates clearly with partners across time zones and cultures.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase Order ManagementDraft purchase orders for finished goods and components, routing them for review and approval before submission to factories.Coordinate existing and new product orders directly with factories while confirming unit costs, minimums, and lead times.Communicate POs and order details clearly to overseas factories.Production CoordinationMaintain regular production-update and scheduling contacts with factories in Mexico, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Germany and China.Track ex-factory timelines, monitor required regulatory clearances and schedule pickups once goods and pallet dimensions are confirmed.Communicate during early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends as needed to keep factories and partners on schedule.Request, compare, and approve freight quotes across ocean, air, and LTL lanes.Initiate and coordinate in-bond consolidated shipments and factory bookings with our freight forwardering partners.Confirm shipment attributes (hazmat/bond status, weights, dimensions, CBM) and provide consignee/ship-to instructions to factories and forwarders.Monitor US inbound shipments to ensure timely arrival against demand.3PL Inbound Receiving & Inventory RecordsIssue inbound receipt notifications to the 3PL well in advance of shipment receipt.Confirm accuracy of Purchase Orders based on received inventory and coordinate with the proper party (Supplier or 3PL) to discuss variances.Accounts Payable / Invoice ReviewApprove supplier and freight invoices to Finance with correct GL coding and Cin7 references.Apply supplier credit notes, reconcile payment remittances and direct prepaid inventory costs where needed when goods are received.Reconcile US inbound and international invoices against accurate receipt of goods on a timely basis.Master Data ManagementSet up and maintain SKUs, POs, and receipts in Cin7, keeping product costs, references, and links between POs, invoices, and receipts accurate.Continuously improve on existing procedures and help implement new systems and processes.International Distributor SupportHandle the PO, invoice, labeling, and shipment coordination for international distributor partners.Coordinate country-specific labeling and sticker requirements with factories and confirm shipping details with partners.Prepare and communicate shipping documentation with freight forwarders, suppliers, and the 3PL.What We OfferA purpose-driven role in the outdoor industry with a flexible, work‑hard/play‑hard environment: competitive base salary (DOE), stock option plan, annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, cell phone and public‑transit stipends, and discounts on outdoor and travel gear.Core CompetenciesOrganization. Tenacious about following up and solving problems until they are fully resolved.Qualifications & Requirements2–5+ years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory operations (outdoor industry or similar a plus).Hands‑on experience with an inventory/ERP system. Cin7 strongly preferred (PO creation, receiving, invoice management, etc).Working knowledge of international freight and import logistics (ocean/air/LTL, in‑bond shipments, BOLs, packing lists, dims/CBM, Incoterms); familiarity with duties/tariffs a plus.Strong grasp of Excel and Google Suite; comfort reconciling invoices and applying GL coding with Finance.Excellent cross‑cultural communication; proficiency with messaging apps (e.g., WeChat) and clarity with non‑native English speakers.Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable, with strong problem‑solving and follow‑through.Key FunctionsReliable high‑speed internet and willingness to work flex/off‑hours; GRAYL works with factories in Asia and Mexico, requiring some early‑morning, late‑evening, or occasional weekend communication.Seattle, WA area preferred (able to commute to office/3PL as needed), but not required.Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds and to work on a computer up to 6‑9 hours per day.About GRAYLSeattle‑based GRAYL® makes innovative water purifiers for international travelers and outdoor explorers so their adventures can be safe, self‑reliant, and awe‑inspiring.
