The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for ensuring that a business can efficiently source raw materials, manufacture products, store inventory, and transport shipments. The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible in negotiating business relationships and communicating with suppliers and distributors in fast-paced contract manufacturer of nutraceuticals and dietary supplements.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Duties & Responsibilities1. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals2. Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers3. Participate in product development4. Coordinate changes, product line extensions, or new product launches5. Analyze logistics data to refine the supply chain6. Communicate with suppliers and distributors7. Protect brand image and reliability8. Foster growth-friendly supply chain practices9. Manage purchase orders and tracking shipping schedules10. Collaborates with Receiving Department to identify order discrepancies and perform material receipt notification to our field as required11. Updating order records12. Working with the purchasing manager to complete necessary special projects/tasksRequirements1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain, STEM Major or related fields2. Familiarity of fluency with a 2nd , preferably Mandarin3. At least 3-5 years experience in strategic sourcing, category management and/or vendor management4. experience in a similar position for a manufacturing facility5. Experience in ERP or other manufacturing software6. Advance mathematical, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills7. Can work under pressure and keep high work quality8.
