We want to engage and empower our diverse, global team to co‑create value with our customers through our solutions in contract logistics and air, ocean, ground, and finished vehicle transport.YOUR ROLEAs a Supply Chain Specialist I, you will provide operational support in the supply chain environment, ensuring data integrity and efficient transportation operations. You will be pivotal in delivering superior supply chain services.WHAT YOU WILL DOProvide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, collaborate, and assist with operations as needed.Maintain document accuracy (dates, times, locations, counts, etc.) using a basic understanding of transportation and service operations.Update operational/customer transportation data in software systems and applications (purchase orders, shipping times, rates, etc.).Utilize databases, logs, and other sources to locate and verify information.Manage forms, labels, billing, invoices, and related documents to ensure timely processing. Track orders through systems, vendors, and related sources.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and effective work environment.Identify potential operational or service concerns, notify appropriate coworkers and assist with resolution.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High School graduate or GED. Two years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment.Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web‑based and job‑specific software applications. Ability to enter, review and verify documentation and information. Ability to prepare logs, reports and documents.Characteristics: Knowledgeable of customer service principles and practices. Understanding of operational and support principles in supply chain environments.
