This job processes and distributes supplies and equipment to various hospital departments. Responsibilities include receiving and delivering materials, inspecting shipments, maintaining par levels, restocking, decontaminating reusable supplies, assisting in inventory, performing cycle counts, and carrying out general housekeeping duties.ResponsibilitiesMaintain inventory and cleanliness in storeroom and par locations.Accurately charge supplies when removing from inventory.Organize delivery carts and deliver according to designated locations, maintaining an accurate delivery log.Inspect and receive deliveries for hospital, clinic, and administrative areas.Perform all inventory-related tasks, including cycle counts and end-of-year inventories.Identify and address internal and external customer needs.Other related duties as required.EducationRequired: High school diploma or equivalent.Work ExperiencePreferred: Experience in a Materials Management or healthcare environment.CertificationsRequired: Valid driver's license if operating a company vehicle.Required: Forklift certification if working at Warehouse District Row within 30 days of hire.Preferred: Supply Chain or Inventory Management Certification(s).Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesComputer skills for data entry and retrieval.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Windows applications and relevant software.Strong interpersonal skills.Reliable transportation for travel between facilities.Ability to work a flexible schedule (24/7, weekends, holidays, on call).Physical and Environmental DemandsExerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally or as needed, with frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and constant lifting of up to 20 pounds. Exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue may occur.
