Johnson County Community CollegePosition: Supported Education Programs InstructorDepartment: Student Success & EngagementType of Position: Part-time RegularExemption Status: Non-ExemptWork Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 25 hours per weekOpportunity for hybrid schedule: NoStarting Salary Range: $26.98-$35.10Position SummarySupported Education Programs Instructors teach non-credit specialized instruction seminars for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in the CLEAR and CONNECT programs. Responsible for course content development and adaptation to meet diverse learning needs. Responsible for classroom instruction and evaluating student progress including testing, grading and maintaining an interactive Canvas course. Hold weekly office hours and collaborate with peer mentors to support student success.
