Job Description:

Overview:

This position provides office support, assisting in the preparation of survey projects, such as boundary surveys, subdivision plats, construction calculations, topographic and route projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform survey tasks under the direct guidance of the Survey Project Manager and Project Surveyor.
• Create basic drawings from field survey data, sketches, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Assist in preparing field packages, drawings, exhibits, and legal descriptions with detailed instructions.
• Compile, organize, and analyze survey data with supervision.
• Process field crew data and assist in creating base maps for field crews.
• Ensure data is accurate and formatted for review.
• Support deed research and simple calculations with direct oversight.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with residential subdivision platting a plus.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation experience is a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Dependable, reliable, and eager to grow in the survey field.
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed.
