    Description

    This position is full-time in person. No prior work experience required.

    The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or be willing to learn:
    • Tasks in other practice areas within the company and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
    • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Basic surveying principles and practices
    • Use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS, and levels
    • Basic math and geometry used in surveying calculations
    • Reading and interpreting engineering plans, plats, and maps
    • Construction layout and as-built surveys
    • Topographic and boundary surveying
    • Field note taking and data collection procedures
    • Coordinate systems and basic surveying computations
    • Use of AutoCAD or Civil 3D
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
    • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the company
    This opportunity requires:

    Education
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a survey related field or Computer Aided Design
    License/Certification
    • Registered Professional Land Surveyor, and/or a desire to obtain PLS preferred
