Job Description Kids Zone Attendant Overview: Reporting to the Operations Manager, Kids Zone Attendants are responsible for ensuring a positive experience and safe atmosphere for all who enter the Kids Zone at Turtle Creek Stadium. This position actively engages fans by greeting, selling wristbands/participation, operating inflatables, offering stadium guidance, and tending to their general safety while inside the stadium.
Principle duties and responsibilities include: Welcoming and engaging with guests at the Kids Zone Selling "All-You-Can-Play" Wristbands & Speed Pitch Throws Setting up, Operating, and Tearing Down Inflatables/Games Maintaining the area around the Kids Zone Observation of guidelines for ensuring the safety of guests Answering general questions from fans and spectators Remaining actively engaged through the conclusion of the event Guide fans efficiently and effectively in the event of an emergency Guide and Supervise Bounce House/Speed Pitch Operations for fan safety Assist with post-game tote removal & game storage as directed by the Operations Manager Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively with spectators, coworkers, and supervisors Must be willing to work in both a team setting as well as alone in certain areas Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and loud environment Must be able to work evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional days according to baseball and events schedules Must be good with kids Must be attentive to safety/ability to enforce rules Able to provide or contact first aid in the event of injury Must be able to understand written and/or verbal instructions Must be punctual to call times and meeting assignments Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, fold, and roll (with assistance) inflatables weighing exceeding 100lbs While performing duties, employees are often required to climb stairs, reach, kneel, or crouch. Employee must show ability to communicate effectively via two way radio.
