Team MemberOur Vision: To become the leading Home Décor retailer.Our Mission: Enable everyone to affordably make their house a home.Job Summary:The Team Member (TM.) role supports all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes and helps maintain an active selling culture by ensuring that all processes are held to documented company standards designed to drive sales.Key Roles & Responsibilities:* The TM maintains a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.* The TM contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service.* The Team Member performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience.* The Team Member unloads, processes, and stocks freight within the correct location while following all store merchandising guidelines.* TM performs Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building.* The TM completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on-time.* The TM actively impacts and participates in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store will operate effectively and profitably.* All other duties are based on business needs.Qualifications & Competencies:* At least 18 years old.* High School Diploma/Equivalent.* Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and comprehension skills.* Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.* Reliable and trustworthy with ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for a team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.Flexible and creative with an ability to handle multiple tasks where priorities shift with the demands of the business
