    Test Engineer - Electro-Mechanical Actuation - Contract or Direct - 0901-Sept23-IL

    We are working closely with our Client who is a leading provider of Innovative Motion Control Motors and other Electro-Mechanical Actuation Devices for the aerospace industry. We are currently seeking a Test Engineer for a direct or long term contract position

    Requirements:

    • BSEE, or MSEE or related field with 3+ years' experience experience with developing test equipment from concept to production to facilitate the manufacture of specialty electro-mechanical motion control /motor products/actuation devices such for demanding aerospace applications. Experience with Hydraulic Actuation also acceptable
    • Design and build a fully automated test systems to support ATP and QTP testing of aerospace parts.
    • Operate LabVIEW or other similar test software.
    • Manage and maintain calibration of engineering test equipment.
    • Troubleshoot test system issues as they arise.
    • Maintain data and ensure data accuracy.
    • Meet with customers and engineers to ensure testing goals are met.

    Desired Skills

    • Experience with PID control, specifically closed loop load, pressure, position, and velocity control.
    • Experience with calibration of transducers, signal conditioners, and amplifiers
    • Test system design experience, including industrial electronics and cable assembly.
    • Experience with serial communication protocol
    • Background in electric motors and drives.
    • Experience with Delta Motion controllers, or similar motion controllers.
    • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
