    Travel Specialist$19.28-$23.13 minimum starting payJob Level - Individual ContributorShelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.What You Will Be DoingPlan and secure travel arrangements relative to conducting company business for employees and agents, according to needs established by management. Coordinate arrangements for Company meetings as requested for Home Office and field offices. Be available after hours when a Catastrophe Storm Team is activated and also available after hours to secure travel arrangements when any other emergency situation arises. Maintain current knowledge of all aspects of domestic and international travel. Maintain records and files and prepare regular and special reports necessary to Corporate Travel. Perform selected duties of the Manager of Corporate Travel when absent.Frontline Travel Agent for securing travel reservations including airline tickets, local transportation both domestic and international using Sabre GDS. Work with the Claims Department on securing all travel arrangements necessary for the Catastrophe Team and other claims adjusters traveling to the devastated area. Perform clerical duties of record keeping for all accounting procedures. Maintain records of unused tickets and credits for future travel. Confirm with Jefferson City Flying Service for the scheduling of the Company Plane, including flight itineraries and car rentals. Perform duties of the Manager of Corporate Travel when absent due to vacation or Company Travel obligations not limited to the Conference of Champions or Industry meetings. Plan meetings as requested by Home Office and Branch locations. This includes negotiating and contracting sleeping rooms, conference space, audio visual needs and food and beverage.
