The Truss Assembler will beresponsible for assembling wooden or trusses used in the construction of buildings, homes, roofs, and other structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembly processes, a strong understanding of construction materials, and a commitment to safety and quality. And the ability to follow directions
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble roof and floor trusses according to specifications and blueprints.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble trusses, ensuring all components are securely fastened.
- Inspect components for quality and accuracy before assembly.
- Ensure that trusses are assembled in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Follow all work orders, instructions, and assembly schedules to meet production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve issues related to the assembly process.
- Conduct final quality checks on assembled trusses to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and completed truss assemblies.
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction-related role, preferably as a truss assembler or in a similar position.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in truss assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to [insert weight] lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with wood or steel trusses.
- Forklift certification (if applicable).

Physical Requirements:- Ability to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy objects regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday.
Work Environment:- This position will be performed in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed boots, is required.
