About the team:
The Exterior Services team is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Walmart’s store and club environments through expert landscaping and facility upkeep. This team manages projects efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards and controlling costs. Members collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver quality results, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. They apply strong project management and budgeting skills to support sustainable facility operations. The team fosters a professional atmosphere focused on integrity, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction, contributing to a safe and welcoming experience for all associates and customers.
What you'll do:

• Prepare and execute budgets by developing cost estimates and approving purchases of parts, materials, and equipment.
• Manage scheduled projects by prioritizing work assignments, maintaining workforce needs, and ensuring project completion.
• Oversee capital expenditure scopes to update assets including landscaping, snow events, and seasonal maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following established safety and environmental guidelines.
• Lead third-party providers through coaching, performance evaluations, and quality assurance inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Coordinate job activities by building relationships and supporting business goals.
• Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in managing exterior facility maintenance projects, including landscaping, snow removal, and equipment servicing.
• Strong ability to develop and execute budgets, cost estimates, and material requisitions with attention to cost control.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Skilled in coordinating third-party providers and leading teams to achieve quality and timely project completion.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills to address facility user needs and resolve issues effectively.
• Ability to analyze operational needs and implement sustainable improvements to reduce costs and enhance facility performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to build relationships with stakeholders and support business objectives.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Vocational or Technical Certification or 2 years’ experience in Mechanical Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, or Construction and/or related field
