The Manager, Merchandising Planning, leads category financial forecasting and merchandise planning by leveraging data analytics and business intelligence to drive informed decisions. This role partners cross-functionally to align forecasts, optimize promotional strategies, and manage inventory effectively. About the team:
The Merchandising Execution team transforms assortment strategies into actionable inventory plans, ensuring product availability across all shopping channels. Collaborating closely with Merchants, the team enhances inventory productivity, in-stock performance, and financial outcomes. Utilizing expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, supply chain coordination, and data analysis, the team optimizes product flow and addresses challenges efficiently. This group drives key decisions related to inventory, service, and profitability, supporting a seamless customer experience through continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Their efforts contribute significantly to operational excellence and financial success at scale.
What you'll do:

• Lead category and merchandise planning by applying data-driven financial forecasting and inventory management to optimize assortment and sales performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align forecasts, promotional plans, and feature strategies with business objectives and customer needs.
• Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to provide actionable insights that drive category growth and profitability.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial targets, and performance reports to support informed decision-making.
• Guide and mentor team members in best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
• Utilize digital tools and business intelligence to continuously improve planning processes and outcomes.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in merchandising and category management with strong financial forecasting and inventory planning skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and apply business intelligence to drive profitable merchandise planning decisions.
• Experience managing profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities and developing actionable financial models.
• Strong capability in inventory forecasting and allocation to optimize stock levels and meet customer demand.
• Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally to align financial targets with business strategies and customer needs.
• Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to influence decision-making and improve business outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
