Role summary:The Senior Partner, Advertising Sales - Consumables at Sam’s Club Connect leads strategic sales initiatives by leveraging deep industry knowledge and business acumen to drive impactful advertising solutions for Consumables suppliers. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive sales plans, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering data-driven insights to optimize advertising performance. The position requires expertise in negotiation, financial analysis, and client onboarding to ensure successful partnerships and measurable business outcomes. The Senior Partner fosters collaboration across teams and markets, guiding efforts to enhance customer engagement and achieve sustained growth within a dynamic retail media environment.
About the team:The Sam’s Club Connect Sales team drives growth by enabling brands to engage members through data-driven advertising solutions using first-party insights. Collaborating with suppliers, agencies, merchants, and cross-functional partners, the team creates integrated media and experiential programs that deliver measurable results across digital and in-club channels. Sales leaders develop commercial strategies, build executive relationships, identify opportunities, and translate objectives into effective solutions. Operating in a dynamic, collaborative environment, the team works across functions to achieve revenue goals and foster long-term strategic partnerships that support sustainable business growth.
What you'll do:- Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting to drive advertising revenue growth for Sam’s Club Connect.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales proposals and presentations tailored to complex customer needs.
- Manage negotiation processes, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes while protecting company interests.
- Utilize business insights and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize advertising solutions.
- Oversee Consumables client onboarding, improving processes to enhance customer experiences and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to support cross-functional collaboration and business objectives.
- Mentor and guide team members on best practices, fostering continuous improvement and professional development.
