The team focuses on developing innovative technologies and services such as Scan & Go, Club Pickup, and home delivery in select markets. Beyond retail, Sam's Club supports members through travel, auto purchasing, pharmacy, optical, hearing aid, tire, and battery centers, along with business operations support services. The team is dedicated to enhancing the member experience by crafting personalized solutions and advancing digital engagement within Sam's ecosystem, driving seamless and efficient service delivery. What you''ll do: Guides teams of engineers, including offshore associates, by providing documentation, direction, examples, and timelines. Supports business stakeholders by addressing technical questions, feasibility assessments, and implementation strategies. Manages complex projects from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Translates business requirements into scalable technical solutions and recommends optimal approaches. Troubleshoots production issues through root cause analysis and resolution planning. Collaborates with product, project, business, and UX teams during discovery and design phases. Promotes engineering best practices, continuous improvement, stakeholder alignment, and compliance with company policies and ethical standards. What you''ll bring: Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices. Strong technical acumen with experience in code review, debugging, and continuous development. Demonstrated ability to deliver scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams. Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance software solutions. Proficiency in software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and observability. Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software aligned with platform objectives. The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00
