About the team:

The Facility Services HVAC-Refrigeration team specializes in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The team ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards while delivering reliable service across multiple locations. Members collaborate closely to troubleshoot technical issues, implement preventive maintenance, and support operational efficiency. Guided by experienced managers and training technicians, the team fosters skill development and effective communication. They utilize digital tools for scheduling and resource management, respond promptly to service needs, and uphold company policies to maintain high-quality performance and customer satisfaction.

What you''ll do:

• Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork, control panels.
• Interpret layout plans and schematics to ensure accurate system setup and compliance with codes.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues in commercial and industrial systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration units such as racks, walk-ins, and reach-ins.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R regulations.
• Lead and mentor field teams on technical procedures and safety practices.
• Manage service calls, documentation, and coordinate with external providers as needed.
• Operate company vehicles safely and participate in on-call rotations to support critical needs.

What you''ll bring:

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong ability to interpret layout plans, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA 608 refrigerant handling protocols, including refrigerant reclamation and documentation.
• Capability to lead and mentor field teams while promoting safety and technical best practices.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical issues and coordinate with customers and service providers.
• Ability to operate company vehicles safely and manage service calls using digital tools.

The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $58.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
