Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU) is seeking a relationship-driven, strategic Key Account Relationship Manager to serve as the primary business partner for some of our largest commercial, industrial, and institutional customers. In this highly visible role, you'll work across Tacoma Power, Tacoma Water, Tacoma Rail, Customer Services, and City departments to deliver exceptional customer service, develop long-term account strategies, and support initiatives that strengthen our community and local economy.
As a trusted advisor, you'll help providekey account customers with solutions that meet evolving business needs, coordinate major projects, process improvements and infrastructure planning, present conservation and sustainability programs, and coordinate communications with internal teams and departments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong partnerships, solving complex challenges, and collaborating across organizations to create outstanding customer experiences.
This position is on call 24/7 to manage supply issues for their assigned key accounts and may be required to work evening and weekend hours in addition to their regular work hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
Minimum Education* Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, marketing, energy management, planning or related field Minimum Experience* 4 years of experience in commercial/industrial or residential energy services development, marketing, delivery or management *Relevant education and experience may substitute for one another on a year-for-year basis.
