Responsibilities: • Attend all pre-shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests • Develop a comprehensive understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials so that you can respond to client questions and provide recommendations • Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed Qualifications: • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired Compensation: $5 hourly
