    Description

    Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for executing day‑to‑day warehousing, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material accountability functions in support of mission‑critical systems and equipment. This position operates in a warehouse environment located aboard a military installation.Responsibilities Receive, inspect, inventory, stage, package, store, and ship electronic equipment and related materialsMaintain accountability of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) utilizing automated inventory and bar‑coding systemsPerform inventory reconciliation and physical inventoriesUtilize inventory management software to verify stock levels and generate reportsDevelop and automate logistics reports to support inventory visibilityPrepare materials for shipment and coordinate transportation activitiesOperate forklifts, Government vehicles, and material handling equipmentMaintain warehouse organization and proper storage proceduresSupport material issue and recovery activitiesMaintain records associated with warehouse operationsEnsure compliance with safety requirements and Government regulationsPerform other logistics and warehouse support duties as assignedEducation High School diploma or GEDExperience Minimum two (2) years of warehouse experienceInventory management and material accountability experienceExperience staging, packing, storing, and shipping electronic equipmentOperation of forklifts, motor vehicles, and material handling equipmentUse of computer‑based inventory and bar‑coding systemsDesired Knowledge and Skills Proficiency with automated inventory management and logistics software toolsAbility to generate accurate reports and automate logistics reportingStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and within a team environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsSecurity Requirements Must possess and maintain an active DoD Secret Security ClearanceWork Environment Position is located aboard a military installation in a warehouse environment. Occasional operation of forklifts, Government vehicles, and material handling equipment is required.
