OverviewResponsible for working directly with the Warehouse Manager to coordinate the shipping, receiving and inventory by utilizing knowledge of equipment, procedures and specifications. The responsibilities of this position include preparation and load out of shipping containers to be sent to project locations as requested by the project team. Responsible for receipt of project shipping containers from each project, inventory of those containers, testing and inspection of all tools, materials and equipment contained within, coordinator with construction team and associated decision making for repair (either on-site or by manufacturer), replacement or decommissioning based on current and future needs, and maintaining a company inventory of all items in warehouse.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for cleanliness and organization of our warehouseResponsible for in and out inspections for all equipment leaving our warehouseAssist manager with inventory management at our facilityResponsible for inventory of all tools, materials and equipment coming into and leaving the warehouse facilityInterpret specifications and work ordersRequisition, obtain and distribute supplies and materialsAssist with resolving problems with Warehouse ManagerRead, prepare, collect and maintain reportsSafeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocolsMay be responsible to fulfill each project's requests for tooling and rigging prior to mobilization and support multiple simultaneous active project's tolling and rigging needsCoordinator with Facility/Warehouse Manager to setup layout and ensure efficient space utilizationMaintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and securityManage inventory and reconcile with data storage systemReceive feedback and monitor the quality of services providedCoordinator equipment necessary to offload, move and transport tools, materials, equipment, shipping containers and other associated items around the yard and to/from the project sites, yard and original equipment manufacturersMaintain and repair small enginesTrack calibration requirements and associated documentation for toolingShip and receive tooling via UPS/FedEx and LTL carriersMay be responsible to inspect riggingMay assist Fleet Management with coordination of vehicles and vehicle requirements as neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredOne or two-year certificate from college or technical school and/or 2 years of related experienceValid Driver license required (CDL preferred)Experience using basic power and hydraulic tools as well as understanding of rigging and small enginesExperience in industrial/renewable energy construction or maintenanceHydraulic Tooling certifications preferredRigging Inspection certification preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredTake reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the company's Zero Injury principlesStrong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise executionAble to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditionsRead, analyze and interpret technical procedures, reports, business correspondence and procedure manualsAdd, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using while numbers, common fractions and decimalsCommon sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formExperience in industrial, heavy and/or renewable energy constructionKnowledge of Rigging practicesKnowledge of small engines preferredAbility to maintain a meticulously organized, clean and functional warehouseConstruction knowledge a plusKnowledge of inventory managementIntermediate computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigationWorking EnvironmentRegularly exposed to extreme outside weather conditions and demanding physical situationsFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and extreme heatOccasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrationNoise level in the work environment is usually loudHiring InformationPosition may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing.
