    Job Description

    Warehouse Furniture Specialist

    Perform daily activities of warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage and transportation of classroom furniture. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas driver's license, knowledge of furniture moving and transportation, ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment, and experience in warehouse operations. Major responsibilities include tracking furniture requests, delivering furniture, operating mechanical equipment, maintaining furniture, supervising warehousing, and ensuring safety practices. Equipment used includes a computer, ladder, dolly, scaffolding, fork lift, pallet jack, box knife, and small hand tools. Working conditions involve moderate walking, standing, and climbing; heavy lifting and carrying; exposure to dampness and humidity; and working on ladders and scaffolding.
