    Description

    We're Hiring: Purchasing Program Coordinator | $ 71,136 salary + Amazing Benefits!

    Location: 850 W. 1700 S. Suite #1, SLC, UT 84104 | Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm | Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Exempt

    Are you a natural leader with hands-on experience in construction, HVAC, or weatherization-and a passion for serving your community? We're looking for a Weatherization & HVAC Operations Supervisor to guide crews, streamline operations, and ensure high-quality, compliant energy-efficiency upgrades across multiple counties.

    What You'll Do

    In this dynamic leadership role, you'll supervise and mentor Weatherization and HVAC crews while overseeing installations, maintenance, and energy-efficient upgrades. You'll manage work orders, replacement equipment, inventory, and documentation-ensuring all projects meet federal, state, and agency standards, production goals, and compliance requirements.

    You'll also

    • Lead and support program staff, subcontractors, and warehouse operations
    • Oversee quality control and inspections, including Crisis Program work
    • Coordinate client recruitment, outreach, and education efforts
    • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and reporting across counties
    • Train, coach, and develop staff in alignment with DOE requirements and the Utah Weatherization Field Guide
    • Promote a culture of safety, professionalism, trust, and teamwork

    What You Bring

    • Experience in construction or weatherization programs
    • Prior supervisory experience with crews or technical staff
    • Strong organizational, time-management, and recordkeeping skills
    • Familiarity with weatherization products, tools, and inventory control
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet critical deadlines
    • Professional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
    • Proficiency in English and comfort using software programs
    • Valid Utah driver's license and current insurance

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise Weatherization staff and warehouse personnel; provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure all work complies with DOE requirements and the Utah Weatherization Field Guide. Oversee daily warehouse operations, Crisis Program production and quality inspections, and coordinate subcontractor training.

    What You'll Need to Succeed

    Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screening
    • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree or technical certification
    • 2+ years of weatherization or supervisory experience
    • CDL or forklift certification
    • Nonprofit experience
    • Bilingual skills
    • Experience working with individuals and families experiencing poverty.

    Work Environment & Physical Demands

    This role is primarily office-based with occasional visits to client homes. Physical demands are generally light and infrequent, with some standing, driving, and lifting (50 lbs. or more).
