    The State Hygienic Laboratory (SHL), Iowa's Environmental and Public Health Laboratory, at the University of Iowa, under contract with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, has an exciting full-time opportunity for an IT Support Analyst in the Coralville, Iowafacility. The primary function of the position is to provide customer support for the SHL's web portal clients. Support services include provisioning and deprovisioning client accounts, resetting account passwords, and assisting clients with web portal use. Troubleshoot client issues and referring issues to the appropriate technical group.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with possible weekends and holidays.

    Work Modality: On-Site, In-Person. Position may be eligible for hybrid work within Iowa after an initial training and evaluation period.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    Education or Equivalency Required:

    A Bachelor's degree in a STEM or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated working knowledge and experience with:

    o Microsoft Active Directory

    o Help Desk Support

    • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

    • Ability to apply critical thinking, technical problem solving, and analyzing system specifications.

    • Ability to perform tasks that require accuracy and attention to detail.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.

    • Experience with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

    • Knowledge of public health programs.

    • Ability to contribute to a successful team-oriented work environment.
