Description
In Search Of:
Candidate must be able to provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement
*** Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
- An out going, motivated, part-time health and wellness professional dedicated to helping health seekers of all ages reach their total well-being goals using fun and engaging strategies.
- This person will also help in the Youth Sports department asan instructor for approximately 5 hours per week as program needs dictate.
- Mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends - for the wellness position
- Evenings and weekends - for the sports position
- $11.30/hr
Candidate must be able to provide service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes healthy member well-being and engagement
- Experience working with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
- Background in exercise science or related field preferred, but willing to train.
- Build effective relationships with members
- Maintain working knowledge of wellness trends
- Maintain safe environment and functioning exercise equipment
- Take initiative to help members reach their goals
- Monitor Wellness Center as directed
