    Nova Gymnastics Women's Gymnastics Team Coach

    Nova Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics training center dedicated to providing a safe, positive, and empowering environment for athletes of all ages and skill levels.     Position Summary

    We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and energetic Women's Gymnastics Team Coach to join our coaching staff. This individual will work directly under the guidance of the Team Director to help train and develop gymnasts across various competitive levels. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a positive, structured, and challenging training environment that supports athletic growth and personal development.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coach and mentor female gymnasts in accordance with the team's philosophy and curriculum, focusing on skill development, strength, flexibility, and technique.
    • Collaborate closely with the Team Director to plan training schedules, routines, and competition strategies.
    • Assist in choreographing floor and beam routines, with attention to artistry and individuality.
    • Support gymnasts during practices, meets, and competitions, including travel when necessary.
    • Monitor and evaluate athlete progress and provide constructive feedback and encouragement.
    • Maintain a safe and clean training environment, adhering to all gym safety policies and USAG standards.
    • Communicate regularly with athletes, parents, and the Team Director regarding goals, progress, and upcoming events.
    • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education to stay current with industry best practices.
    Qualifications
    • Previous coaching experience in competitive women's gymnastics (TAAF, Xcel, or USAG compulsory/optional levels preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of USAG rules, safety standards, and routine requirements.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes in a supportive and disciplined environment.
    • Current USAG Professional Membership, SafeSport certification, and background check (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
    • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
