Solidworks Drafter - Everett, WA area

Our client in the Everett, WA area is an Aerospace Company and is looking for a Solidworks Drafter responsible for providing support for their Company.

Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe.

Position purpose/core responsibilities:

The Drafter is responsible for producing drawings from exsiting models.

Main Duties:

It is expected that the following duties will be performed in a timely, accurate manner while following appropriate procedures and meeting applicable standards of performance and deadlines.

• Produce accurate drawings and adhere to drafting standards.
• Adequately dimension drawings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• SolidWorks: 1 year (Preferred)
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Able to read structural drawings.
• Able to discuss structural design of metal structures with engineering staff and communicate design intent.
• Reliable, punctual, detail-orientated.
• Effectively communicate with team members.
• Structural design experience required.
• Drafting background.
