Primary Purpose: Maintain a quality environment through proper cleaning processes that meet the requirements of the contract. Duties: - Offices: Dust, Vacuum, Sweep and Mop Floors, Clean Tables, Clean Windows and Windowsills and Empty Trash
- Outside of Building: Remove Trash and Clean Windows
- Restrooms: Clean, Sanitize, Clean Mirrors, Remove Trash
- Restock all Required Supplies in Each Area
- Auditorium: Sweep, Mop, Vacuum and Dust
- Cafeteria: Sweep, Mop, Clean Tables, Clean Windows and Windowsills and Remove Trash
- Entrance and Exit Doors: Clean Windows, Clean Windowsills, Sanitize Door Handles, Vacuum Mats, Sweep Around Doors and Clean Thresholds
- Halls: Dust and Mop
- Media Center: Sweep, Mop, Vacuum and Dust
- Cleaning Solutions: Prepare All Cleaning Solutions to Manufacturers Guidelines
- Processes and Procedures: Use Manufacturers Guidelines in the Handling of all Cleaning Solutions to Prevent Damage to Floors and Fixtures
- Maintenance Concerns: Report Maintenance Concerns to Administration for Midlands Technical College and Defender Management
- Carpet and Rugs: Shampoo and Deep Clean
Requirements: - Background Check
- Drug Testing
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds for the entire shift
- Must be able to stand for the entire shift
- Must be able to climb stairs for the entire shift
- Must be capable of bending, pushing, pulling, and squatting for the entire shift
- Must be capable of pushing a manual broom and mop
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have reliable transportation arrangements
- Must be comfortable working in a school setting
- Must be able to assist with meeting set-ups
- Must not sit during the work shift except for the 30-minute lunch break and the 15-minute work break
- Must be able to operate power washer, buffers, vacuums, shampoo carpet machines and scrubbers
- Must be willing to wear all required PPE
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
