Now Hiring IT Specialists!Qualified Staffing is hiring an IT Specialist for a silicone manufacturing company in Richmond, VA. This role provides technical support, maintains IT systems, and ensures employees have the tools needed to perform effectively.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage helpdesk tickets and provide technical support to end users
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Set up new users, workstations, and equipment
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and procedures
  • Develop training materials and provide user support
  • Monitor and support daily network operations
  • Prioritize and manage multiple IT requests
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors
  • Assist with system maintenance and updates
  • Communicate clearly with users on issue status
  • Support IT projects and initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
  • IT-related degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and domains
  • Understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
  • Experience with Office 365 and business applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot PCs, laptops, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi networks and access points
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • FortiGate firewall experience is a plus
