As an 06B HVAC Technician, you will be the face of Apollo. Youll handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role is perfect for a technician who is licensed for restricted electrical work (up to 250V single-phase) and wants to focus on high-quality system performance and customer education.
Expert Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems (furnaces, heat pumps, AC units).
Precision Maintenance: Perform routine tune-ups to ensure maximum efficiency and equipment longevity.
Electrical Compliance: Safely perform 06B scope work, including wiring, controls, and system connections within the licenses voltage limits.
Customer Education: Clearly explain repair vs. replacement options to homeowners, providing digital estimates and invoices on-site.
Safety First: Maintain a clean workspace and strictly follow L&I safety protocols and local building codes.
License: A valid Washington State 06B (Restricted HVAC/Refrigeration) specialty electrician license is required.
Experience: Minimum 12 years of hands-on HVAC service or installation experience.
Tech-Savvy: Ability to use tablets/smartphones for dispatching, invoicing, and documenting work.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable in attics and crawl spaces, and able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Clean Record: Valid drivers license and a clean driving record (youll be driving a company vehicle).
