What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely operate haul trucks to transport raw materials throughout the quarry site
  • Perform pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Follow designated haul routes and traffic patterns to maintain safe and efficient site operations
  • Communicate with dispatch, loaders, and other operators to coordinate material movement
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly

What Are We Looking For

  • Ability to safely operate heavy haul equipment in a quarry or similar environment
  • Strong commitment to safety procedures and situational awareness
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Mechanical awareness to identify and report equipment issues
  • Reliability and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
