1:1 School Registered Nurse

Make a difference one student at a time, helping them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn! Cross Country Education is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 medical support throughout the school day and during transportation to and from school in Easton, MD.

Position Overview 

• Provide 1:1 nursing care and medical support to a student with complex medical needs throughout the school day.
• Accompany the student to and from school via school bus, providing continuous nursing supervision and support during transportation.
• Monitor the student’s health status and respond appropriately to medical needs in accordance with the student’s care plan and school protocols.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to support student safety, well-being, and participation in the school environment.

Qualifications 

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing
• Active, unrestricted Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or 1:1 care for students with complex medical needs preferred
• Ability to provide nursing care during school transportation and throughout the school day
