Job Summary:
The job 11 ModerateSevere Special Education Aide is for the purposes of assisting underdirect supervision in the supervision and instruction of special education students, relieving teachers of routineclerical tasks, and assisting students by providing for special academic and health care needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education Required: Completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher education or obtained an associates or higher degree or met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate through a formal State or local academic assessment of knowledge of and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
Licenses and Certifications: Bonding and/or Testing Required Proficiency examination Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate ASCC Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance Other First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificates may be required Proof of HS Graduation
Comments and Other Information:
6.00 Hours per day at North Shore Elementary School in the ModerateSevere Special Education Class.

Employment with the Bear Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Board of Trustee approval.
