CNC Programming Manager - Seattle, WA area
Our client in the Seattle, WA area is a world class machining, fabrication, and assembly supplier of precision machined parts and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries and is looking for a CNC Programming Manager responsible for providing support for their Company.
Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe.
Position purpose/core responsibilities:
This CNC Programming Manager position primarily entails responsibility for overseeing the operation of programing department.
Main Duties:
- Directly Manage programmers.
- Incumbent will carry out supervisory and managerial responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies, applicable federal, state, and local laws. Responsibilities includes interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance: rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems, and career development.
- Responsible to perform troubleshooting on part inaccuracy and must work diligently to find the best resolution.
- Work with production and engineers to develop the most efficient process.
- Report to upper management any changes or problems that could affect the operating results of the company.
- Drive culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of MasterCAM programming experience.
- 3 years of machining experience.
