Electrical Engineer - Pacific Northwest
Our client in the Pacific Northwest is an international leader in aircraft modification and is looking for a Electrical Engineer responsible for providing support for their Company. The Client has Potential long term Contract and Direct positions.
Keltia is a technical support services company providing Engineering Design, CAD Training along with Specialized Technical Recruiting services to mainly the aerospace and other industries in WA State, around the US, Canada and Europe. We have been in business 20 years in the US and 8 years in Europe.
Position purpose/core responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Provide definition for systems functional requirements.
- Create drawings and schematics to support systems design.
- Work with design and stress team on design concepts that meets company and certification requirements.
- Work with technical publications to develop systems-related ICAW (MPD, AMM, etc.).
- Work with customer service to address in-service systems issues.
Experience:
- 5-10 years' experience in a relevant technical discipline.
- Proficiency with CATIA and AutoCAD experience required.
- experience in developing system safety analyses (SSAs) and related documents such as fault tolerance analysis (FTAs) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEAs).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing design for hydraulic and electrical aircraft systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing of the STC and major aircraft modifications under FAA CFR 25 Certification process.
- Experience working with systems DERs and certification team to determine applicable regulations and develop compliance plans.
- Experience in developing test plans, execute testing, and writing systems-related test reports: component qualification (e.g. DO-160 testing), ground tests, flight tests.
Education:
- Bachelors or Maters degree in Aerospace or Engineering.
