We're seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Operator to join our client for a temporary project expected to last 2-3 weeks, with the possibility of extension. If you're safety-minded, hands-on, and have forklift experience, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Full-time; must be available for overtime as needed
Shift: Monday- Saturday 6am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down required) and motorized pallet jacks to move freight
- Safely transport materials, supplies, and finished goods within the warehouse and loading areas
- Load and unload delivery trucks using dock ramps
- Organize and track inventory using production sheets or work tickets
- Inspect received goods for damage and ensure accurate placement in storage
- Sort and prepare materials for shipment, including packing and repacking
- Handle rolled/bundled fencing products and assist with flatbed truck loading
- Set up equipment and read work instructions for various material types
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and follow all safety procedures
- Assist with general warehouse and yard tasks as directed
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
Qualifications:- Forklift experience required
- Prior experience loading/unloading trucks using dock ramps
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety protocols at all times
- Dependable and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
