1. Win With Black Men State Captains

Location: All 50 states + U.S. territories 

Position Overview:

Win With Black Men is seeking organized, dedicated and committed individuals with a passion for organizing and democracy. This applicant should be active in their local community and have a willingness to engage all different kinds of people from every walk of life. This role will require the ability pull individuals together to galvanize others to communicate the importance in participating in this historic election. 

Key Responsibilities:

As a State Captain you should be willing and able to:

• Commit to participating in campaign activities from late-October until Election Day Organize canvassing events
• Recruit volunteers
• Maintain communication with elected officials in your state 
• Ability to navigate within the political infrastructure   

• • Maintain accurate records about the progress

  • Help address any issues that may arise

  • Performs other related duties as required

  Qualifications:

   - At least 1 cycle of experience in canvassing, voter engagement or community organizing 

  Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others.

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and educate a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to handle long periods of walking and interacting with the public.
  • Willingness to learn about voter registration laws, processes, and technology.
