Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Beginners (1-1 1/2) Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, helping further their education level through circle time and open engagement, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs as they grow and flourish. With strong communication and problem-solving skills, we are looking for someone who thrives in a high-paced, younger classroom environment. Our kiddos are a loving and cuddly bunch; they just need someone to love back.
Responsibilities
- Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
- Demonstrate introductory life skills; holding silverware, cleaning our toys, putting on our coats
- Introduce beginning shapes, colors, and numbers through songs and activities
- Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate constantly and with care to parents and other school personnel
- Assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Experience in childcare (Highly Preferred)
