Title: Network Administrator 3/Network Engineer
Location: Onsite –San Jose, CA
Contract Term: 12 months
Interviews - 3 rounds, 1st 2 will be on Teams, and last one will be onsite.

This position will involve administrating (installation, configuration, and maintenance) the network and hardware infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on position requiring on site presence 5 days a week at AMD Office.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
This position will involve both software and hardware administration, so the right candidate will need to have the flexibility required to make the shift back and forth. Hardware administration will involve introducing new equipment to the network;ground-up network design experience not required.

JOB DUTIES:
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
