Job Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems and servers and related hardware.
<\/li> - Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
<\/li> - Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
<\/li> - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
<\/li> - Automate routine tasks using shell scripts and other scripting languages.
<\/li> - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
<\/li> - Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
<\/li> - Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
<\/li> - Collaborate with other IT team members to support infrastructure projects.
<\/li> - Work closely with the Application team and Development team to provide any required hardware support.
<\/li> - Build prototype systems for demo and testing.
<\/li> - Provide platform infrastructure support.
<\/li> - Provide general business application support.
<\/li> - Maintain detailed inventory of Business Area automation.
<\/li> - Maintain documentation of network server configurations, application licensing agreements, and other third party software installed.
<\/li> - Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
<\/li> - Perform on call after hours support as part of the rotation.

Requirements<\/h3>Required Skills:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
<\/li><\/ul>- 10 plus years proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role.
<\/li> - In -depth knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
<\/li> - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
<\/li> - Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
<\/li> - Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
<\/li> - Strong problem -solving skills and attention to detail.
<\/li> - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
<\/li> - Relevant certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE) are a plus.
<\/li><\/ul>Desired Skills:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>- Experience with cloud platforms, AWS and Azure.
<\/li> - Knowledge of configuration management tool, Puppet.
<\/li> - Experience with setting up build -machines and software development support.
<\/li> - Experience with Red Hat Satellite Server.
<\/li> - Experience with Red Hat IdM.
<\/li> - Experience with Artifactory and repos such as Python and Conda.
<\/li> - Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Singularity).
<\/li> - Familiarity with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
<\/li> - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
<\/li> - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
<\/li> - Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
<\/li> - Knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS).
<\/li> - Familiarity with cloud storage solutions like AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage.
<\/li> - Experience working in aerospace industry and Mission Control.
