About NCAPEstablished in 1997, Northern Colorado Anesthesia Professionals (NCAP) is an independent, single-specialty anesthesia group practice serving world-class hospitals and surgery centers in beautiful Northern Colorado, and soon to be in Laramie, WY. NCAP utilizes a care team model, with physicians supervising multiple CRNAs in many of the facilities we serve. We have 100+ providers (50% Anesthesiologists, 50% CRNAs) and work closely with facility administration, surgeons and surgery staff. A care team model is utilized in most facilities, and an NCAP supervising anesthesiologist oversees up to four CRNAs concurrently. While supervising, the physician is immediately available to assist with any anesthesia-related needs. Service LocationsNCAP provides anesthetizing services at several hospital and surgery center locations. Our North pod covers the Fort Collins-Loveland-Greeley area and includes Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies. Our South pod covers the Lafayette-Louisville area and includes Good Samaritan Medical Center. Our Laramie location will cover Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Providers are scheduled to work within their assigned pod. New providers may orient at one of our North pod hospitals before being assigned to other facilities. Door-to-OR call response time is 30 minutes. Case MixThe primary case mix is dependent on the assigned geographic pod and can be facility specific. Case mix may include general surgery, Level II trauma, obstetrics, orthopedics and spine, neuro, GI, eyes, EP lab, and arterial catheter placements. Some outpatient settings might be high-volume, fast-turnover ambulatory surgery cases. CompensationCompensation is based on time available (shift assignments) plus production. Providers average seven weeks of vacation annually. Qualifications
