What You’ll Do:
  • Support and perform complex cardiac procedures with precision, including fluoro imaging, digital acquisition, and hemodynamic measurements.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure patient safety, optimal care, and departmental efficiency.
  • Maintain equipment, adhere to aseptic techniques, and act as the radiation safety officer during X-ray procedures.
  • Stay current with cath lab technologies and participate in ongoing training and competency development.
  • Travel to various facilities, bringing your expertise directly to patients and medical teams in need.

Required Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or healthcare-related associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 0-1 years of experience in an acute care setting, with electrophysiology experience highly valued.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
  • State licensure (e.g., MRT or LMRT in Texas).
  • Familiarity with cath lab equipment such as imaging systems, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitors.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, and excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or specialized radiography or sonography credentials.
  • Experience with advanced cath lab procedures and intra-aortic balloon pumps or atherectomy devices.
  • Prior travel experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field.
  • Prior experience in electrophysiology or interventional radiology.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly across multiple clinical environments.
