Position Details

We are currently looking for a freelance Norwegian Teacher for one of our clients in Baltimore, United States.

• Format: one-to-one
• Total Hours: 20
• Session length: two-hours
• Location: For in person: Reisterstown, MD 21136 or Lutherville, MD 21093. For online: Zoom
• Student Level: Lower Intermediate
• Student Age Group: 65 and over
• Student's Schedule: once per week (Tuesday or Thursday at 16:00 EST)
• Student's Preferred Start Date: 2026-10-01
• Student's Motivation: Speaking with Norwegian family in law and friends

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Norwegian speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance position, with part-time hours
• We are not able to sponsor visas
